Porcelain Caps (Dental Crowns)
A dental crown, or dental cap, completely covers a tooth.
A dental crown is a cap that covers either the remaining structure of a tooth or a dental implant that restores the tooth to a normal, functioning size. A crown is placed when a filling is not sufficient enough to protect the underlying tooth structure. There are several types of dental crowns, the most common being made of porcelain. Our crowns are made by master ceramists located in New York City.
